God's blessing to in the US. What a joy to see God's work here in Guatemala. God is indeed with us. Before we got here we were asked if we could see 90 people in a day. We were not sure if that would be possible. Well with God's grace we saw 121 day one,116 day two and 130 day three and onthe fourth day (which was a half day) we saw 54 people. That would be 400+.God surely is great and working here. Seeds being planted.
It was a great week in San Pablo medical clinic. They have not had a clinic there in years. It was hot, busy, and at times a little crazy, but always wonderful and a blessing (to us). The people here are wonderful and I have learned much from them. And God has taught me even more this week. I can't wait to come back:) Todd
A very moving house dedication service. The family is very appreciative and truly understands the blessing they have received. The leaders of the village also spoke and expressed their gratitude for all that was accomplished. They want us to know that St. Paul is always welcome in San Pablo.
Very hard to say good-bye!
For the man with TB and our workers who were in close proximity to him.
For wonderful attendance by the VBS children at the closing service.
For the very depressed man, whose family has all died. The only treatment we could give him was prayer.
For our family who will be staying in their new home tonight.
The young lady who is most likely suffering from liver failure or pancreatic cancer (painless jaundice).
For Myrna and the physician in Zacapa who have received our remaining medicine.
For Edwardo and his pharmicist friend in Zacapa who was able to get more of the medicine we needed.
For our cooks, drivers and translators who have been with us all week. (Especially Spongebob)
For Scott on his birthday!
Hi everyone (Hola a todos)!
The closing service was full of the presence of God. There were many emotions, we sang, we cried, we prayed. It was such an exciting moment to see and listen to the VBS kids from San Pablo in Gustemala. Seeing the smiles in their faces gave me hope and faith and also made me feel our God's love and his goodness to allow us to know all the people here and the kids that are even living in an different "American Way" they are happy and enjoy everything that they have.
After the kids sang, the worship for the church began. Pastor Gerardo preached about Mathew. How to build on the rock like "the Church of San Pablo" and Orlando and Xiomaras' house was built too.
This is my first missionary trip in a foreign country and I feel very blessed to know other people, and even I though I speak Spanish learning different words that people from Central America use. God bless the people from San Pablo and all the missionary groups around the world!!!
